Gruenhagen, age 61, a resident of the town of Long Lake, passed away on Saturday, October 27, in Minneapolis. She was born on June 22, 1918 in Trego, and has lived in this area all of her life. On June 30, 1959 she was united in marriage to Frank Gruenhagen at Pine City, Minn. For many years she was a school bus driver for the Rice Lake system. She is survived by her husband, Frank; one daughter, Doris Walters, Birchwood; two sons, Billy Joe Gruenhagen, Steven Lambrecht, both of Birchwood; 16 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; her mother, Ione Butenhoff, Earl; one sister, Lorraine Thompson, Earl; one brother, Lloyd Butenhoff, St. Paul. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 30, at the Trego Community Church, Trego. The Rev. Harlan Menk officiating. Burial was in the Earl Cemetery. Visitation was held at the Dahl Funeral Home in Spooner.
