Keates, 919 Lucas Rd., Ft. Myers, Florida, formerly of Sharpsville who passed away on Sunday in Memorial Baptist Hospital, Houston, Texas, after a two year illness. He was 42. Mr. Keates was born in Sharpsville, July 6, 1929, the son of John and Mary C. Seidle Keates. He was an electrical air conditioning contractor in Ft. Myers, and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his widow, the former Lois M. Holt, of Spooner, who he married September 1, 1962; two daughters, Kimberly Ann, 8, and Barbara Louise, 6, at home; his mother, four sisters and three brothers.
