This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Priscilla Arnold 20 January 2002 ==================================================================== Spooner, Washburn Co., WI Spooner Advocate Obituaries Thursday, July 28, 1994 LILLIAN MOORMAN Lillian Faye Moorman, 86, a long-time resident of Minong, died on Thursday, July 21, at Villa Royal Care Center in Medford, Ore. She was born on Aug. 17, 1907, in Peru, Iowa, to Robert and Lilli (Simmons) Nichols. Lillian attended grade school and high school in Peru. On March 4, 1929, she married Wendell Guy Moorman in Truro, Iowa. In 1938 they moved to Minong. Survivors include three nephews and two neices. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wendell; two brothers, Lawrence and Irvin; and one sister, Madge Nichols. A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, at Brown Funeral Home in Minong, with Deacon Peter Huntowski officiating. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery in Minong.
