Mrs. Henry Fromm for many years residing in this vicinity passed away at her home in Milwaukee, last week Tuesday, April 15. She had been in declining health for over four months following a paralytic stroke on Dec. 12 last. The deceased whose maiden name was Bertha Wernicke, was born July 6, 1852 in Germany, and came over to this country at the age of two years. Her family made their home at Johnson's Creek, Mayville and Theresa. She was married to Henry Fromm on November 3, 1876, and they settled down on a farm in the town of Barton, where they lived for 26 years. They celebrated the golden wedding three years ago.
