Carl Bolter, aged 76 died Wednesday afternoon, February 28, at his home town of Brookfield, after a lingering illness. He had been a resident of that town for thirty-seven years and was one of the best known residents. He is survived by four sons and six daughters; Mrs. William Sommers and Mrs. Martin Janneman (?) This city; Mrs. Fred Merrow, Mrs. Ernest Merrow and Fred Bolter, Brookfield, August, Earnest, Henry, Julia and Bertha Bolter at home. The funeral was held Sunday at 1 p.m. from the Brookfield German Evangelical Church. The Rev. Mrs. Tschudy officiated.
