The deceased was born 10 March 1820 in Brandenburg province, Germany, and married in the old homeland his wife Wilhelmine, born Derge, with whom he came to America in 1854. The pair settled in Washington County and were on a farm in Town Addison. Three daughters mourn the death of the deceased, who was buried on Monday morning. Pastor Hahn of Milwaukee lead the funeral.
