Died

In this city, yesterday, about two o'clock, J.F. Bridge,
Esq., aged 36 years.

Deceased was connected with the Quartermaster's Department,
U.S.M.R.R., under Capt. Harmill, acting inthe capacity of
Superintendent of Shops.  He was dearly loved and respected
by all who knew him; generous to a fault, his kind heart was
always planning something for the happiness of others.  His
genial temper made him the favorite of the social circle,
which always seemed merrier when his beaming countenance
shone among them.  Sadly will they miss it now, and
regretfully will they part thus from their best friend.

His remains will be forwarded to Wisconsin to-day, where
they will be interred. Nashville Union, of January 16th
