Died

In this town, on the 18th inst., after a protracted illness,
Mr. Frederick Moore, aged 78 years, 9 months and 21 days.

Mr. Moore was born in Klinebeck, Dutchess County, N.Y., June
25th, 1787.  Emigrated to his late home in 1851, where he
resided up to the time of his death.  The deceased was a
sufferer from a chronic disease of long standing, but
retained his senses and his usual cheerfulness up to the
moment of his death.- He leaves a family of eight grand-
childrfen, and a large circle of friends and neighbors, to
mourn the loss of a kind father and neighbor, and a citizen
who was always read to help along every good work.  Funeral
services were heal at his late residence by Rev. Mr. Pope,
of the Episcopal Church, after which his remains were
accompanied to the grave by large numbers of his
sympathizing friends and neighbors.
