Born in England, occupation farmer, volunteered on the third day of December 1863. Soldier has blue eyes, dark brown hair, light complexion, is 5 feet eight inches high. Soldier is twenty two years and one half months of age. Mustered in by Capt. E. L. Phillips for Co. K. 10th Regt. Wis. Inf. Vols. Bounty paid, $60.00. Transferred to Company G, 21st Wisconsin Infantry on November 4, 1864; transferred to 3rd Wisconsin Infantry, June 8, 1865. Mustered out of service July 18, 1865. Engagements: Rocky Face Ridge, GA; Resaca, GA; Dallas, GA; Kenesaw Mountain, GA; Cahttahoochie River, GA; Peach Tree Creek, GA.
