SURNAMES: PORT, CORSON Sarah Elizabeth CORSON was born in Williamsport, PA Jan. 12th 1844, was married to Thomas PORT Jan. 16, 1862. To Mr. and Mrs. Port 4 children were born. Mrs. H. B. Scannell of Springfield MA, Mrs L. Christie of Sacramento, CA. Ray W. Port last heard from when on his way to CA in 1912, Frank C. Port, Sacramento, CA. These with a sister of Mrs. Port, Mrs Emmarene Smith, of Reedsburg, WI. are left to mourn the passing of a loving mother and a faithfull sister. Mrs Port became a memeber of the WI. Vet. Home on the 10th day of Oct. 1913, coming from MA. where she had resided for many years. She passed away at the hospital in the early morning of Tuesday, Sept. 13th 1921, at the age of 77 years, 8 months and one day. Funeral services were held in the Home Chapel Thursday, Sept. 15th, Rev. E.B.Earle, Chaplin Officiating. Distance and other circumstances made it impossible for any of the children to be present. Friends present from out of camp were: Mrs Florence Boutwell of Waupaca, Mrs L.B. Larsen of Marion and Mrs. E.L.
