She was united in holy wedlock October 18, 1862 at age 20 to Fredrich Bliske. To this union nine children were born, five sons and four daughters. One son and two daughters preceded her in death. In 1867 she and her family emigrated to America and settled on a farm in Dakota Township, Waushara County, Wisconsin. About thirty-five years ago she and her family moved onto a farm in Deerfield township. In 1895 her first husband, Fredrich, died as the result of a barn fire and a year later, 1896 she entered a second marriage with Anton Lipke who died April 1, 1909. Last November the deceased went to Montello to visit her relatives. While she was there she took sick and was unable to return to her home. She departed this life at the home of her grandson, Ed Cook, near Montello, May 30, 1927, at eleven o'clock A.M., at the age of 85 years, 10 months, and 19 days. She has through her death, as we confidently hope and trust, because of her Christian faith and life, entered into the church triumphant. She leaves to mourn her death three sons and three daughters: Wilhelmine, Mrs. Julius Kuck of Montello; Herman Bliske of Wautoma; Auguste, Mrs. Albert Podoll of Wautoma; Alvine, Mrs. Aug. Putzke of Hancock; Friedrich Bliske of Wautoma; Albert Bliske of Wautoma; 51 grandchildren, 42 great-grand-children, and eight step children: Fred Lipke of Hancock; Mrs. Frank Rohde of Kenosha, Wis.; Mrs. Albert Monroe, of Hancock; Gust. Lipke of Hancock; Mrs. Richard Stratton, New London, Wis.; Elmer Lipke of Oshkosh, Mrs. Emmett Searles, Green Lake, WI. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, June 2, at the home of Albert (Emil) Bliske and in the Deerfield Lutheran church, of which the deceased was a member, Rev. B.J.E. Stelter officiating. The flowers were carried by the following ladies: Mrs. Otto Reier, Emma Bliske, Mary Podoll, Lillian Cook, Linda Salzwedel and Erna Cook. The community extends to the mourners its heartfelt sympathy.
