Obituary: Waushara County, Wisconsin: Letty HALL ************************************************************************ Submitted by Joan Benner, April 2008 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ From the Hancock News [Hancock, Waushara County, Wisc.], June 10, 1898, Page 8 Death of Mrs. Letty Hall Miss Letty Bacon was born at Waupun, Wisc., Aug. 23, 1873, and died in the town of Plainfield, May 17, 1898. She was married in 1893 to Mr. Dan Hall, a well-to-do farmer of Blue Jacket, I. T., but on account of his wife’s poor health they came back to Wisconsin last November so Mrs. Hall could be near her mother, Mrs. Ben Briggs. She said she had no fear of dying, and her only grief was the thought of parting with her loved ones, especially the three little children, the youngest being only six weeks old. Besides them she leaves a husband, mother, father, two brothers and many other friends who deeply mourn her early death. The funeral was held at the S. D. A. church in Deerfield, Rev. Swartz, of Plainfield, preaching the sermon. Her reamins were laid to rest in the Eager cemetery beside a brother who died two years ago.
