Ford, Treasurer of Winnebago Paper Mills, was born in the town of Stillwater, Saratoga Co., N.Y., March 15, 1823; lived in that county until he came to Oshkosh, in April, 1850; engaged in logging and lumbering for six years. In 1857 he came to Neenah; a year or two later he engaged in milling business here, which he continued for about thirteen years; afterward in grocery trade until December, 1873, when he engaged in the manufacture of paper. He has been Treasurer of the Winnebago Paper Mills since the organization of that corporation. Mr. Ford was married at Neenah in March, 1858, to Hattie M. Imus. They have three children- Mary E., Albert E. and Jesse R.
