Hilton, jeweler, and dealer in watches, clocks, silver and plated ware; also keeps a full line of all goods generally found in a jewelry store; also deals in music and musical instruments; established Oct. 1, 1881; Mr. H. was born in Waukesha, Wis.; Nov. 18, 1848, but has lived in Winnebago Co. nearly all his life, being engaged in the jewelry business since he was sixteen years of age; he began in 1865, and served an apprenticeship of three years and has always made the jewelry business a specialty. He was married in Neenah, Wis., Feb. 23, 1871, to Miss Endora E. Olmstead, who was born in Alabama; they have three children- Allie S. (born Jan. 29, 1872; she died in October, 1881), Lemar (born Feb. 4, 1874), and Harley C. (born May 25, 1876)
