John Jamison was born in Jefferson Co., Ind., Dec. 10, 1826, moved to
Neenah in May, 1851, and engaged in the erection and repairs of flour,
paper and saw mills.  He was married in Switzerland Co., Ind., Feb. 21,
1860, to Miss Jennette Culbertson.  They had three children- James, Jane
(now Mrs. J.E. Paine) and Robert.
