Andrew Oertel, expressman, etc.; was born in Germany August 22, 1828; came
to the United States in 1865 and located at Two Rivers, Wis., where he
worked in a tannery and peddled goods over Wisconsin.  In 1869 he moved to
Oshkosh and engaged in his present business; also carries the U.S. Mail
between depot and post office.  Was married in Germany Oct. 11, 1855, to
Miss Amelia Zwengee; they have three children- Henry, Moritz and Ida.
