Scott, lumber manufacturer; was born at Calais, Maine, April 30, 1830; resided for three years in St. Lawrence Co., N.Y., prior to moving to Oshkosh in August, 1855. Mr. Scott has been engaged in his present business ever since he came here; he was married at Calais, Me., in March, 1852, to Charlotte A. White, a native of St. John, Province of New Brunswick; they have five children- Lorenzo D., Frank L., Herbert C., John W. and Edwin C.
