			  Obituary-Oshkosh : The Northwestern
                                Anna E Haase : Omro

Age 90, died Tuesday afternoon, at her home.  She was born July 23, 1893, in
the Town of Poysippi, daughter of the late H Gustave and Caroline Schmude
Hertzberg.  She helped her parents farm on the homestead farm in the Town of
Poysippi in her early years.  She married Arthur Haase, March 14, 1912, in
Borth, and they farmed in the Town of Poygan their entire married life time.

Mrs. Haase served the Borth Evangelical Church as its organist for 60 years,
was a past member of the Borth Ladies Aide and the Mission Society.  She was
a member of the Wyldewood Baptist Church, Oshkosh.  Survivors include two
sons: Nelson Haase, Omro; Leland Haase, Berlin; a daughter, Mrs. Alfred
(Sylvia) Schultz, Borth; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 5
great-great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, July
12, 1973, and a daughter, Lorraine Mueller, January 24, 1981. The funeral
will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Wyldewood Baptist Church, Oshkosh, with 
the Rev. Howard Nelson officiating.

Burial will be in the Borth Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Mueller
Funeral Home, Winneconne, Thursday after 4 p.m. and evening, and at the
church on Friday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
