Obituary: Winnebago County, Wisconsin: Oswald BAEBLER ************************************************************************ Submitted by Kathy Grace, June 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Daily Northwestern April 4, 1906 p. 3 Mr. Baebler's Funeral Former Black Wolf Farmer Expires at Home of His Daughter in This City Oswald Baebler, a resident of Winnebago county for the last fifty-two years, passed away at eleven o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Barbara Zentner, 55 Evans street. Death was due to general debility, incident to advanced age. He was eighty-two years of age. Deceased was born in Switzerland and came to the county in 1864, taking up a farm in Black Wolf. Fourteen years ago he removed from that town to Oshkosh, where he had since resideded. There are surviving five daughters: Mrs. Barbara Zentner, Mrs. Casper Floor and Mrs. Fred Disch of Oshkosh, and Mrs. Rudolph Elmer and Mrs. Alonzo Geiger of Black Wolf. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon with services at the residence at one o'clock and at the Evangelical Lutheran church on Washington street at 1:30 o'clock. Rev. Charles Wellso officiating. Interment will be at the Black Wolf cemetery.
