Beals, who died yesterday at the home of his brother-in-law, A.M. Hale, on Franklin street, was fifty-nine years old. He settled in this region in 1850 and he was one of the prominent citizens of the county. He was chairman of the town of Omro for six years. He leaves a wife and a son, who lived at Rhinelander. The funeral will be held from the house of Mr. Hale, 77 Franklin street, Friday morning at eleven o'clock and the remains will be buried in the Omro Junction cemetery. The Rev. Lowell C. Smith will conduct the services. The pall bearers will be G.H. Gile, Andrew Wilson, D.C. Stone, James Brainerd, W.W. Kimball and Messrs. Winslow Kane and Lindsay.
