R. Blackborn at Omro Omro, Wis., May 9- Arthur B. Blackburn, who died Monday night, was due of the oldest settlers in this vicinity. He was born at Shamcliff Battery, England, in March, 1813. He went to New Orleans with his father's family and from there to Maine, whence he came to Wisconsin in 1852, and settled in the town of Poygan. Part of the time since then he has lived in Poygun and part of the time in the town of Omro. His only child was Mrs. Peter Davlin of Rush Lake, who died two years ago. His first wife died a few years after coming here, and in 1867 he married Mrs. Lydia Bowman, who survives him. For several years past he has been sick a great deal and required the greatest care, which was faithfully given him by his wife. The funeral was held at two o'clock yesterday afternoon from his late home about two miles southeast of this village.
