Mr. Blau was born in Austria, Dec. 8, 1874. He was a member of Sacred Heart society and of Saint Vincent's society. Survivors are his wife, Christine; six daughters, Mrs. Edward Kotenberg, Cleveland, Mrs. Alois Polecek, Lake Tomahawk, Mrs. Alfred Sang, Miss Agnes Blau, Miss Elizabeth Blau, and Miss Frances Blau; nine sons, Michael Blau, Martin Blau, Edward Blau, Bernert Blau, Albert Blau, Rolf Blau, Richard Blau, Gerald Blau, and Joseph Blau; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Beeg, and Mrs. Mary Brandt, Omro; and two brothers, Michael Blau and John Blau. The funeral will be held from Sacred Heart church at 9 o'clock Thursday, with Rev. M.J. Schmitz reading the service. The service will be preceded by a short prayer at the home at 8:30 o'clock. Interment will be at Sacred Heart cemetery. Remains may be viewed at the home from tonight until the time of the funeral.
