Brighton at the Northern hospital yesterday afternoon removed an industrious and decidedly strange and secretive character. He was between 40 and 45 years of age and for twenty years had been in the employ of Carlton Foster. About ten years ago he met with an accident in the woods from which he never fully recovered. A greater misfortune came upon him recently, however, when he was found to be insane and was committed to the hospital. Yesterday his career, so full of ill, and no doubt not destitute of good, terminated. The unusual features of the case exist in the fact that despite his long residence here and intimate association with his co-workers Mr. Brighton never fully revealed so far as known where he came from or who were his relatives or where they were to be found. Mr. Foster is therefore at a loss how to act altogether at this time and will be pleased to communicate with anyone who has any knowledge of the whereabouts of the dead man's relatives. Brighton leaves some property; he was always reserved, and thought he occasionally spoke of his family nothing thereof can now be recalled except that he had a brother in California. The funeral services will occur at the Second Baptist church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Coon will officiate
