Another Old Resident

Mary Elizabeth Church, one of the early residents of this section, passed
away at her home in the town of Vinland, Sunday, April 13, at the age of
sixty-four years, nine months and five days.

Mrs. Church was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Pratt, and was born in
the town of Vinland, July 8, 1848.  On June 20, 1872 she was united in
marriage to Dewitt C. Church, who passed away in the year 1885.  Six
children came to bless their home, of which five are still living, Mrs.
Breon, of Oshkosh, Ernest, Lucien, Charles and Adella.  Besides her
children she leaves to mourn her loss a sister, Mrs. A.M. Durkee, of
Oshkosh, and many other relatives.

The funeral was held from the house at two o'clock, Tuesday afternoon, and
interment took place in the Allenville cemetery.  Rev. Codd officiating.
