Crane Sudden Death of a Well Known Oshkosh Young Man Last evening at about seven o'clock occurred the death of William A. Crane. It was a very sudden one, for up to last Saturday night the deceased had enjoyed good health. He was out in the terrible storm that visited this city that evening, and caught a severe cold which subsequently developed into inflammatory rheumatism. This attack, however, was not considered serious by his friends. Last evening he was taken with convulsions and death ensured. Mr. Crane was thirty-one years of age, and was well know in Oshkosh, having formerly resided here. For some years past, however, he has been at Gagen in the employ of his father, A.B. Carne and his uncle, T.E. Crane. The latter have been running a store and saw mill at that place. The deceased was in charge of the store. Some weeks ago it was announced that Crane Brothers were moving their plant to Tomahawk and while awaiting this change Mr. Crane was visiting friends in this city. Besides his parents, one brother- E.M. Carne and a sister, Miss Fannie Crane are to mourn his death.
