Curd Dies Unexpectedly in Doctor's Office Frank L. Curd, 64, of 316 W. 12th Avenue, died unexpectedly following a heart attack while in the waiting room of a physician Saturday at 12:45 PM. He was born in Oshkosh on June 21, 1894, and was married here to Miss Meta Schumacher on April 17, 1920. Mr. Curd had been employed as a machinist by Paine Lumber Company. A veteran of WWI, he was a member of Rainbow Division and VFW, which will meet at Konrad Funeral Home this evening at 7:30 PM. Surviving are his wife, Meta; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Wischow, Neenah, and Mrs. Vernon Luker, Oshkosh; three brothers, John, Harrington, and Howard Curd in California; three sisters, Mrs. Vitula Thurman and Mrs. William Fritz, in California, and Mrs. Jack Hutchingson, Springfield, Illinois; three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. One daughter, Lorraine, died in infancy. Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 PM at Konrad Funeral Home, with the Rev. Emil F. Eske, assistant pastor at Peace Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 PM today until the hour of services.
