Mrs. Davies Dead
  After a brief sickness caused by a lung difficulty Mrs. Jeanette Davies died at the family
resident, 381 Jackson street, at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon.  The deceased was the wife
of Rev. David Davies, pastor of the Welsh C.M. church, and had been a resident of Oshkosh
during the past eight years.  The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from
the Welsh church on Light street and the burial will take place at the cemetery near the
Welsh settlement in Nekimi.  Deceased was born in Black Wolf, this county, July 17, 1850.  
She was the eldest daughter of Evan T. Jones, a well know farmer, now residing in the town
of Utica.
