Dolan Discovered Lying with Bullet Wound in Heart- Reported to Sheriff J.T. Dolan, 60 years old, pioneer town of Poygan resident, was found dead in the milkhouse at his farm with a bullet hole through his heart Monday. He lived alone on the farm with his housekeeper and her little daughter. It was stated that no one heard the shot fired. The housekeeper informed Undersheriff Hahn, who investigated the case, that Mr. Dolan had just brought an armload of wood into the house and had gone to the milkshed. When he did not return after some time, she went to the shed and found him lying on the floor. The gun was underneath the body in a pool of blood. The sheriff's office was not called until 10 o'clock. Mr. Hahn stated that he found the body undisturbed. Patrick Dolan, a brother of the deceased, who lives on an adjacent farm, stated he knew of no motive for suicide. The shooting was done with a .22 high power Savage rifle. There was only one shell in the chamber, Mr. Hahn said. District Attorney Keefe stated there will be no inquest as there is no evidence of foul play. The body has been taken to a Winneconne undertaking establishment. Funeral announcements have not yet been made. He is survived by his brother and two sisters, who reside in Minnesota.
