Doman Passes Away Following Brief Illness-- Funeral to be Thursday Edward C. Doman, 75 High street, died at 9:30 o'clock Monday evening at the Mercy hospital following an appendicitis operation. Mr. Doman was active in his work as a traveling salesman until Monday, July 18, when he was taken to the hospital for his operation. He was born in Oshkosh, April 29, 1881. He was engaged in salesmanship work and was a member of the United Commercial Travelers' association. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Doman, his father, H.C. Doman of New London, one sister, Mrs. A.H. Krueger of Antigo and three brothers. W.F. Doman of Milwaukee, and Harry B. Doman of Oshkosh. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the funeral home of Fiss and Bills. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery. Friends wishing to view the remains may do so from Wednesday evening until the hour of the services at the funeral home. Daily Northwestern July 29, 1927 Obituary: Doman- The funeral of Edward C. Doman was held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Fiss & Bills funeral home with Rev. J.E. Robinson officiating. Mrs. C.D. Wendt, soloist, and Mrs. Oscar Skoug and Miss Jennie Drescher sang during the services, accompanied by Miss Fannie Hewitt. There was a large number of people in attendance and there were many floral tributes. Interment was at Riverside cemetery. The pallbearers were Amand Ackerman, Charles Doman, Albert Buntrock, William Schmidt, Richard Doman and John Meulendyk. Those attending the funeral from out of the city were Mrs. John R. Doman of Whitefish Bay, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Oscar F. Zimmerman and sons, Gordon and Richard, of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Zimmerman, Louis and Herman Zimmerman, Mrs. Sennet, Mr. and Mrs. E. Beckert and Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Doman, all of New London.
