C. Ehrmann Dead A Well Known Merchant Gone A. C. Ehrmann died shortly after noon today at him home, 181 Waugoo street. Mr. Ehrmann has been suffering with lung trouble for the last two years and lately he has grown worse rapidly. For the last week he has realized that he must die, but he has met his end as bravely as he has borne his sufferings. Mr. Ehrmann was born in Oshkosh Dec. 21, 1857, and he has lived in this city all his life. Ten years ago he went into the clothing business here in the firm of Staudenraus & Ehrmann. Six years ago the firm was dissolved, and since then he has continued the business alone. Seven years ago he was married to Miss Lulu Strong, of Cleveland, O. His wife and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Ehrmann, are his only relatives. He leaves no children. Mr. Ehrmann was a man whose death is mourned deeply by his friends and regretted by his business acquaintances. His character inspired esteem. His qualities as a man commanded admiration and his upright business conduct won for him the universal respect. He was a good and a kindly man. The time for the funeral has not yet been determined.
