He was seventy- nine years of age and leaves two sons, Daniel Elliott of this village and George Elliott of Oshkosh. His wife died about four years ago. The funeral will occur Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from the house. January 15, 1901 p.5 The funeral of Josiah Elliott was held at the home of Mrs. A. M. Rice Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. H. G. Dennison having charge of the services. G.B. Elliott and family and John Challoner and family of Oshkosh were in attendance. Mr. Elliott was born in England seventy-nine years ago. After coming to this country he resided for a short time in New York, coming to Omro in 1851.
