Suddenly the call came during the early hours of the morning, the immediate cause being her heart. She was about to retire to her bed when she passed away. Mrs. Faas came to Mikesville 46 years ago and at her death leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and six children: Mrs. Sewart Larson of Winchester, Mrs. Ella M. Jones, of Mikesville, Mrs. Fred Abenschein and Henry Faas of Neenah, Geo. Faas of Chicago and Joseph Faas, Jr., who is still at home. Her four sisters were also present at the funeral. Her brother was not able to be there. Mrs. Faas was a public spirited woman always ready to assist those in trouble or need.
