He settled in the town of Menasha in 1851. He was a consistent member of the Congregational Church for 40 years, and as one of the pioneers of this vicinity was much beloved and respected. He was for a long time foreman in one of the departments of the Pail Factory. About two years ago his health gave way and he has since been on the decline until relieved by death. He was buried Thursday. The funeral exercises were conducted by the Rev. O. P. Clinton and was largely attended by friends and acquaintances. Additional Comments: Census records indicate Edmund was 68 when he died. Perhaps they misread 68 as 63. Also, the Pail Factory is now the Menasha Corporation.
