Deceased was the mother of Mrs. Henry Lieber, of this city, with whom she had made her home for some years. Her death was the result of age, she having reached the ripe old age of 72. She was an aunt of Henry and Nick Bangs, who formerly resided here. The body was interred in the cemetery at this place Tuesday afternoon, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. T. D. Williams, assisted by Rev. C.C. Campbell. E. P.Bangs, a son of the deceased, came up from Oshkosh to attend the funeral. Additional Comments: Mrs. Emeline Praul Bangs was born in New York in 1820, the daughter of David Praul and Catharine Dorsett of Staten Island. Emeline married Lawrence Joren Bangs in New York. He was born in Dronninglund, Denmark in 1817 and came to New York when he was a young man. Lawrence was a ship carpenter and ship captain on the Great Lakes. He was also co-owner of the K.M. Hutchinson, a ship which sailed the Great Lakes. Lawrence and Emeline were residents of Oshkosh and Black Wolf for several years.
