Gould Answers The Call Sarah Tobey was born near Tidioute, in Warren county, Pennsylvania, in the year 1852. She was one in a family of three. Her parents were called away when she was a mere child and the family was reared and cared for by their grandmother. At the age of thirteen years her home in Pennsylvania was sold and they came to Wisconsin to live. At the age of eighteen she was united in marriage to W.W. Gould, who survives her together with three children, Mrs. H.S. Bragg of Minnesota, Mrs. George Cross and W.A. Gould, both of this city. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. John Gould of Morris, Minn., and a brother, E.A. Tobey, Seattle, Wash., and a large circle of friends. Mrs. Gould was a member of the Presbyterian church and very faithful to her Christian life, for her 'To die was gain'. She endured her lingering illness with much patience and believed that "All things work together for good to them that serve the Lord.' The funeral was held from the house at 2 o'clock last Friday afternoon, Dec. 13, and interment took place in the village cemetery, Rev. McGreaham officiating.
