Death of Richard Guenther's Daughter

The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Guenther have been given cause to
mourn and sympathize with them a second time within the past year and a
half at the visitation of death in the household.  This time it is the loss
of their oldest child, Meta Augusta, who breathed her last at 9 o'clock on
Saturday night.  She was six years old lacking just twelve days, and was a
bright, loveable and promising child.  The disease which took her off was
fever which went to the brain and merged into what is technically termed
cerebral meningitis.  For two or three days past the child has been in a
comatose condition from which she could not be aroused.  The funeral took
place this afternoon from the residence on Main street and was attended by
a large number of sympathizing friends.
