In the year 1880 he went to Babcock, Wis., where he was employed. By industrious labor he worked himself up until sometime before his death he had attained the position of carpenter and forman of the U.S. Government work at that city. Five years ago he contracted Bright's disease, which terminated in his demise on Sept. 21st, of this year. Mr. Gusee was a prominent member of the E.F.U. Society and his upright and manly character obtained for him a wide circle of staunch and true friends who held him in high esteem, and who sorely regret that the hand of Fate removed him from their midst. Jim Daniels, of Babcock, accompanied the remains to this village and to their last resting place. The funeral was held from the home of Theodore Gusee, Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 24th. Rev. Codd officiating.
