HANSON She Was a Resident of This City Nearly Sixty Years - Funeral Will be Saturday Mrs. Octavia Hanson, a pioneer resident of this city, passed away last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F.W. Hanson, Union street, at the age of seventy-five years. Death was due to heart trouble and Bright's disease following an illness of about one year's duration. Mrs. hanson was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. She came to Oshkosh when she was sixteen years old and in 1864 married J.P. Hanson, veteran of the civil war and a pioneer millwright who settled here in 1856 and who died about five years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. F.W. Hanson and Mrs. Daisy Percy (sic), one son, Walter Hanson, and two grandsons, Melvin and Frank Percey, all of this city. The funeral wil be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the resident, 21 Union Street, and interment will be at Riverside cemetery. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
