He left his house early in the morning while his wife was preparing breakfast. When he did not return for breakfast, Mrs. Haas became alarmed and made a search of the premises. She soon found the body of her husband, but too late to save his life. An inquest was held in the afternoon when a verdict of suicide was rendered. Mr. Haas was fifty years of age, and it is thought that his rash deed was committed while deranged. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon from the house.
