He was united in marriage to Amelia Lermarm, December 18, 1866. In 1867 he emigrated to America, and first lived in Caladonice, and then moved to Ball Prairie, near Winneconne. He was member of the German Lutheran congregation. Mr. Harsch had been ailing for some time and died Friday, July 10, of dropsy, at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 6 days. He leaves to mourn his death: his widow, three daughters, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. The funeral was held Sunday, July 12, at the German Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. Hoyer. Interment in Village cemetery. Relative in attendance at the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Herman Learman, Mr. and Mrs. Fernan Learman, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Learman, Mr. August Learman, Chester Doughty, nephew, all of New London. Mrs. Wagner, husband, and daughter of New London. H. Karow and wife of Oshkosh, grandchildren. Henry Lerman and family of New London.
