Obituary: Winnebago County, Wisconsin: Frank HAHN ************************************************************************ Submitted by Kathy Grace, August 2004 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Daily Northwestern April 25, 1893 A Double Funeral Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hahn of Menasah to be Buried Together Menasha, Wis., April 25- The funeral of Mrs. Frank Hahn, which was to be have been held yesterday morning, was postponed until this morning, because the death of her husband was expected hourly. At 11:30 last night Mr. Hahn died, and the funeral was again postponed until nine o'clock tomorrow morning, when husband and wife will be buried together. Mr. Frank Hahn, the deceased, was born September 14, 1811, in Germany and was married in 1868. Their silver wedding was held in Germany and their golden wedding in Menasha, eight years ago. Mr. Hahn was one of the oldest settlers of Menasha and up to a few years ago was engaged in making crockery ware. Four sons and four daughters are left to mourn the loss of both mother and father. The double funeral will take place tomorrow morning from the St. Mary's Catholic church, Father Seubert officiating.
