Obituary: Winnebago County, Wisconsin: James HANSON ************************************************************************ Submitted by Kathy Grace, July 2004 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Daily Northwestern January 3, 1891 Died of Fever James Hanson of Neenah, Expires At His Home Friday Evening Neenah, Wis., Jan. 3- James Hanson died last evening at 5:30 o'clock from the effects of typhoid fever. For several days his death has been hourly expected, so imminent, in fact, that his partner, Hans Gram, in the clothing store, that they owned, had purchased the entire stock to avoid further complications in the business. Mr. Hanson was born at Hylsted, Denmar, forty-one years ago, but removed to this country later on. He leaves at death a wife and three children. For upwards of three years he was employed as clerk for Philip Gaffney until eighteen months ago, when he formed a partnership with Hans Gram. The firm of Gram & Hanson has done a prosperous business. Mr. Hanson was very popular in Danish circles and well like among other nationalities. He will be buried on Monday.
