Lifelong resident of Poygan passes away

Omro, Wis.-- Robert Heffron, a life-long resident of the town of Poygan
passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, following an extended illness.  He was a son
of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Heffron and was born Aug. 15, 1857 in the
town of Poygan.

He worked as a farmer all his life, remaining on the homestead in Poygan.
He was unmarried.  Surviving are two sisters, Miss Mary A. Heffron, at
home, and Mrs. Norm Keefe, of Appleton; and one brother, James, at Omro.
Another sister, Mrs. Sarah Cannon and three brothers, John, Thomas and
Edward, preceded him in death.

The remains may be viewed at the home of his brother James, in the village
of Omro.  The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow, Tuesday morning,
at St. Thomas' church in Poygan
