M. Himebaugh, died at her residence on High street at 1:30 o'clock this morning, aged 80 years. She had been in failing health for a series of years, and for the past six months had been bed ridden, so that her death was not unexpected by her relatives and friends. Immediate relatives who survive are the aged husband and two sons grown to manhood, John W. Himebaugh of the Paine Lumber company and F.A. Himebaugh, who lives near Zion. Deceased also left five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral services will be held at the Algoma street M.E. church on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. On the following morning the remains will be taken to Appleton and buried beside those of a son. The services in this city will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Benjamin and other clergymen. Mrs. Himebaugh was well known to many people in this part of Wisconsin and sense of personal loss will be felt in many instances when the news of her death is learned. Daily Northwestern June 22, 1895 p.1 Last Services Held Yesterday and Today Over the Remains of Mrs. Himebaugh The funeral of the late Mrs. M. Himebaugh occurred yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock. After a brief service at the house conducted by her pastor, Rev. A. J. Benjamin, the remains were conveyed to the Algoma street M.E. church where short addresses were made by Rev. W.P. Stowe, B.F. Sanford, H. Stone Richardson, Stephen Smith and A.J. Mead. Many of the clergymen of the district who have come to attend the Epworth league convention were also present to pay their respect to the memory of this mother of Israel. At the conclusion of the service the body was conveyed to the cemetery and deposited in the vault, and this morning was taken to Appleton for final interment. The music was rendered by Misses Goddard and Soper and Misses Clemans and Vieaux.
