Herman Hough who was very low when we went to press last week continued to
fail until Sunday afternoon at about one o'clock when he died.  The funeral
conducted by Rev. Sherwin, was held at his late residence on Monday
afternoon at 4 o'clock, and on Tuesday morning the body was taken to Fond
du Lac by team for burial.  The body was accompanied by a delegation from
the Omro Odd Fellow's Lodge, of which order the deceased had long been a
member.  Mr. Hough had been a resident of this place for about 40 years and
was highly respected member of the community.  He was 84 years of age.  He
leaves a wife, who has been in feeble health for years, to mourn his loss.
