Obituary: Winnebago County, Wisconsin: HOWE, Myron ************************************************************************ Submitted by Kathy Grace, January 2010 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.org/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Omro Journal April 11, 1895 p.1 Myron Howe was born in Pottersville, Warren Co., N.Y., Aug. 4, 1821, and died in the town of Omro, April 2nd, 1895. He came to Winnebago Co., and settled on his farm in 1846. Was married to his now bereaved wife in 1851. Thus for 44 years they have toiled together to make a home, and enjoy the good things of life that God has seen fit to give them. Mr. Howe was one of the pioneers of the town of Omro. He has a large number of friends and acquaintances who will mourn his departure and remember him as a kind and obiliging friend, an honest man and a good citizen. Mr. Howe was never a member of any church, but believed in christianity and helped with his means to support the Gospel. He was an exemplary moral man and had many noble qualities in his life. His death was very sudden indeed. Stricken with paralysis he never spoke after the attack, though he seemed to recognize his friends. The great affliction that he has so lately passed through no doubt has hastened his death.
