Jones, the wife of William Jones, 80 Prospect avenue, died Friday afternoon at 5:30 o’clock. The deceased was forty-eight years of age. Private funeral services will be conducted at the residence at 12:30 o’clock and public services will be conducted at the Bethesda church at 3 p.m. The interment will be at Bethesda cemetery. Friends wishing view of the remains may do so Monday morning from 9:30 until 11 a.m. o’clock. It is requests that friends omit flowers. Oshkosh Northwestern, Monday, July 3, 1911, p. 3 JONES - Funeral services were conducted this afternoon for Sarah E. Jones, wife of William Jones, 80 Prospect avenue. After a short service at the residence at 12:30 o’clock, the services were conducted at the Bethesda church at 3 p.m. Sarah E. Jones was born in the town of Nekimi January 23, 1863, and was married to William Jones at that place in 1883. The couple took their residence in their city. Surviving are the husband and two daughters, Mrs. Bryant A. Johnson of Manawa and Miss Mabel E. Jones of this city; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mary Ann Jones of Milwaukee, Mrs. John Williams of this city, Mrs. E.W. Jones of Pickett, Thomas James of Thomson, Minn., John James of Rosendale, Rev. William James of Emporia, Kan., Edward James of Linn Grove, In. and D.L. James of this city. The brothers of the deceased acted as pallbearers. At the funeral services the pastor spoke of the heavenly home of the deceased who was an earnest Christian woman, a member of the First Baptist church for over thirty years.
