Obituary: Winnebago County, Wisconsin: Margaret KALOUS ************************************************************************ Submitted by Kathy Grace, June 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Daily Northwestern July 25, 1927 p. 4 Young Woman Dies Miss Margaret Kalous Passes Away After Illness of One Year- Funeral to be Wednesday Miss Margaret Kalous, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Kalous, died at 4 o'clock Sunday morning at the Sunnyview sanatorium after an illness of about one year. Miss Kalous was 20 years of age having been born June 19, 1907. She attended the Oshkosh public schools and the Oshkosh Business college. Before her illness she was employed in the office of the local American legion post where she held the position of assistant to the service officer. She is survived by her parents, six sisters, Mrs. Ferdinand Reichenberger, Mrs. Louis Koelbl, the Misses Lucy and Cecilia Kalous of Oshkosh, Miss Helen Kalous of Chicago and Sister Cecilia Marie of the Holy Family convent, Manitowoc. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from the Sacred Heart church. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart cemetery. Friends wishing to view the remains may do so at the residence, 1219 Fifth street until the hour of the services Wednesday.
