Death of William Kargus

William August Kargus of 292 Ninth street, died Tuesday afternoon, after a
brief illness with apoplexy, complicated with congestion of the lungs.  He
was sixty-eight years of age and formerly was engaged in the business of
buying cattle.  A widow and one son survive.  The funeral service will be
held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the residence and at the Eighth
street Lutheran church at three o'clock, Rev. Mr. Koepplin officiating.
