Winneconne Local April 11, 1918 p.1

Miss Laura Karlson died at St. Mary's hospital, Oshkosh, Tuesday, April 9,
at 1 P.M.

Deceased was born in Winneconne April 25, 1888, being 29 years, 11 months
and 15 days of age.  Her father died five years ago.  Miss Karlson always
had a large number of friends.  Her mind went to music, and she was a good
musician, having attended the Johnson College of Music in Minneapolis.
Afterward she spent four years as teacher at Atwater, Minn.

Miss Karlson had been ailing for sometime.  The following relatives are
left to mourn her loss, Mrs. Otto Nelson of Larsen, Mrs. Pischke of Fisk,
Mrs. Alfred Helm of Picketts, Chester Karlson of Antigo, Edwin Karlson of
Winneconne, Pearl and Norman Karlson and the mother Mrs. Hannah Karlson of
Winneconne, three brothers and four sisters as above named.

Funeral services will be held Friday from the Norwegian Lutheran church.
